SEC rejects Bitcoin ETF proposal, BTC goes below $8,000

U.S. Stocks and also Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that it has declined the proposal of Bitcoin ETF that was sent by the Winklevoss Twins, post news. The rate of Bitcoin dipped below the $8,000 mark, CCN reported.

The application was apparently assessed by the SEC for the 2nd time after Gemini co-founders Cameron and also Tyler Winklevoss appealed. Actually, for the 2nd review, SEC started a round of public comment. Formerly, on March 10, 2017 the first application was denied.
